GETTING STARTED

While most users will gain access to the tools and facilities in the LMP Shop through attending classes, we do welcome and encourage researchers and other users to reach out with ideas to become familiar with, and get trained on equipment.

Please note: use of the water jet and 3D printers requires a cost object. Additionally, some machines (i.e. CNC mills and lathes), may require extensive training that may take several hours to become proficient.

To get started, please fill out the google form below. Once a staff member has received it, we will reach out to you via email to schedule a one-on-one consultation and provide next steps in getting training and access to the LMP Shop tools and facilities. *We are currently experiencing delays in trainings and research support due to high teaching loads and training new staff members. Thanks for your patience!
